Kevin serves the local church as a bi-vocational worship leader and youth minister at Carmel Baptist Church in Pineville, Louisiana. He also serves full-time as a chaplain with Aime Hospice helping to care for the elderly parents, grandparents, and loved ones of many of the students to whom he ministered the last 35 years.
Kevin has a bachelor’s degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, and a Master’s in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Kevin has taught as an adjunct instructor for NOBTS, as well as numerous conferences and events for LifeWay, Student Life, NAMB, and other organizations. Kevin has a love for the local youth pastor and believes their impact on this current generation of students is vital, revolutionary, and impactful.
Kevin’s life and testimony is one that is marked by the incomparable grace and sustaining mercy of Jesus Christ. Kevin is living proof that God is a gracious, just, and merciful God. And His love is unwavering, undeniable, and inescapable. Kevin has experienced the power of resurrection, and the heartache as well as the joy of literally being at rock bottom. However, the good news is that the ground at rock bottom is solid ground!
