On Mission

Do you want your students to encounter missions in a way that educates, equips, energizes and engages them? Do you want them to grow spiritually as they learn to look beyond themselves through new experiences and gain confidence in sharing the Gospel through service and love? We understand these desires and wish to help you see them come to life through On Mission

What is On Mission?

A team of ministers, called serve advocates, have come together to support Alabama Baptist youth ministries, to defend the cause of Christ, and to plead for more to go and reach unbelievers with the Gospel. Through the hard work of these serve advocates and Alabama Baptist churches giving through the Cooperative Program, On Mission can provide:

  • opportunities to serve, care for, and proclaim the Gospel to unbelievers
  • training, resources, and trips in Alabama, North America, and around the world
  • opportunities for Alabama Baptist families to serve on mission together

Why On Mission?

Through On Mission, your students can embark on safe, budget friendly, practical missions’ trips. On these trips, your students will be:

  • EDUCATED on the who, what, when, where, and why of missions
  • EQUIPPED to serve people with diverse needs who come from many different cultural backgrounds
  • ENERGIZED to share the gospel and defend the cause of Christ
  • ENGAGED to be the hands and feet of Jesus as they serve and care for “the least of these”

On Mission trips will typically last one week, fitting easily into your students’ busy summer schedules. For more information contact Josh Meadows at [email protected]
