Hey, Alabama Baptists. For those of you who might not know me, my name is Scooter Kellum, and I am the Youth Minister Strategist for the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions.

I just wanna take a few moments and give everyone an update on two of our biggest YM Link events, Super Summer Alabama, and SPEAK. SPEAK and Super Summer Alabama are near and dear to my heart and serve a powerful role for our Alabama youth ministries.

However, out of an abundance of care for the health and safety of our students and their leaders, we have made the difficult decision to cancel both of these events.

This was not an easy decision for our office to make. But we are looking at this as a blessing in disguise and want you to know that we are already making plans for 2021 and expect it to be bigger and better than ever.

In the meantime, the office of Collegiate and Student Ministries will continue to do our very best to partner with you in ministry and make much of Christ. We hope to see you soon.
